    MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – November 13, 2012 – Miami Gardens’ 8th annual two-day Jazz in the Gardens music festival at Sun Life Stadium is proud to announce as the festival host, nationally syndicated radio personality, Michael Baisden.

    West Palm Beach, FL – December 7, 2012 – The City of Miami Gardens and AEG Live announced today that UPTOWN Magazine will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2013 & 2014 Jazz in the Gardens music festivals. UPTOWN, the industry leader in reaching affluent urban consumers, will receive a dominant marketing and promotional presence in association with the festival's digital, social and experiential media assets. Additionally, UPTOWN Magazine will conduct a series of unique consumer promotions driving awareness of the overall festival while delivering memorable experiences for readers nationwide. Last year's festival drew record breaking attendance and yielded the highest grossing shows in the seven year history of the event. Last year's Jazz in the Gardens featured stellar headliners Mary J Blige, Ramsey Lewis, Jill Scott, Kenny G, Patti LaBelle, KEM, Doug E Fresh, Ledisi, Kevin Eubanks, and more.


    This year's event features Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Earth Wind & Fire, Najee, Rachelle Ferrell, Neyo, Monica, Mary Mary, plus more.

    MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – November 13, 2012 – Miami Gardens’ 8th annual two-day Jazz in the Gardens music festival at Sun Life Stadium is proud to announce as the festival host, nationally syndicated radio personality, Michael Baisden.

    Michael Baisden is undeniably one of the most influential and engaging personalities in radio history. His meteoric rise to No. 1 is redefining radio with the numbers to back it up. The show is nationally syndicated and is heard in over 78 markets nationwide with over eight million loyal listeners daily. His career began when he took a leap of faith to leave his job driving trains in Chicago to self-publish his book and began touring the country selling books out of the trunk of his car. Baisden, who now has four best-selling books to his credit, has hosted two national television shows, and has recently produced three feature films.
